Not birthdays, but “Birth Days” - the anniversary of when someone brought someone into the world, or into their family (many ways to become a parent!). Each year on the anniversary of my birth I say Happy Birth Day to my mom, she did all the work; I just cried. Those were the roles so many more times as I grew up.
Here’s a post from 2019 on my birthday illustrating the idea. My mom sure racks up the Birth Days with six more each year.
Happy Birth Day to my mom. It's her 238th anniversary of a birth today. Nothing special going on, but Dec 15, 2021, is the big two-five-oh and you bet there's gonna be little to no fanfare as well. What about three hundred on Feb 21, 2030? Yeah maybe. If we are lucky enough to have her around on her 400th, when she’s three months past 93, we're gonna party for sure!
Thanks mom, for your dedication, wisdom, love, and our lives.
This day is yours, as they all should be.
Calculate your or your mom’s Birth Days by adding the date each kid came into the family (birth, adoption, marriage, whatever you want we won’t tell you how to count ‘em, we just do the math!). Add pets? Sure! We draw the line at plants, however.
Add or remove kids, then hit Calculate total Birth Days.
